Chapter 258. I Can’t Do This Alone
Amelie’s POV
It has been four weeks of the same routine.
At 8:00 am, I wake up at the hospital, get dressed, and say good morning to the love of my life.
At 9:00 am, Breakfast is delivered to the room, or either Morgan or Dutton will bring it in for me, with the same question every day. ‘Has anything changed?’ to which I reply, ‘No, still the same.’
The only change in the past four weeks is that, at week two, they removed his breathing tubes because his lungs had healed enough for him to breathe on his own. Other than that, everything is the same. Well, except for the fact that now that the breathing tubes are removed, I can kiss his lips.
At 10:00 am, I assisted the physiotherapist with arm and leg exercises. This helps maintain joint mobility and prevent muscle atrophy.
