Chapter 260. Ultrasound

Nathan’s POV

The next two weeks were some of the most challenging of my life, after not moving for a month. I basically had to retrain every single muscle in my body. It was at times very frustrating, but having Amelie by my side every day made it much easier. She was amazing. Helping me with my exercises and standing at the end of the apparatus to hug me as a reward. It would have been a longer recovery if she hadn’t been there.

I still have a way to go, but I can continue that at home with a nurse and a therapist, and of course, Amelie would be there for my recovery as well.

I had just gotten back from physiotherapy, which, unfortunately, Amelie had to skip for a meeting at Eliza’s school. Grandfather was waiting in my room with a company update. After my injury, My Grandfather stepped back into the CEO position temporarily to help the company.
