Chapter 72. Let’s Get Ready

Amelie’s POV

The door buzzer went off.

“I wonder who that is?” I questioned.

Nathan started towards the door. “It’s probably the nail technician. I gave a list of the people to send straight up today.”

He answered the door and ushered in two women dressed in hospital-type scrubs. I walked towards them.

“You must be Amelie,” one lady said. “So nice to meet you. I’m Heather, and this is my assistant, Julia.”

“Nice to meet you, Heather and Julia,” I said, reaching out to shake their hands.

“Ladies, I’ve had all the equipment moved up to the 2nd bedroom,” Nathan said. “If you follow Amelie, she will show you the way.”

We moved towards the stairs and ascended them.
