Chapter 21

Nadia's head hung tiredly by the side of the bus she had entered home, with her mind wandering endlessly in the weariness of the unexpected fact that she had just stumbled upon.

It was so unbelievable to know that the new doctor who was even better in attitude than every other person in their department, was a direct offspring of the family that owned the hospital.

'How unbelievable!'

"Nadia……" Stacy's voice trailed happily as soon as she heard the door open, and walked up to welcome the only friend of hers, who she had been expecting since she got home.

"Hey darling," Nadia smiled.

"Come in," she greeted and tugged Nadia's cheeks as she made her way inside, "You look tired," Stacy observed looking at the stress etched upon her face, "Come, I cooked something nice for you already," she added as she ushered her in.
