SCARLETT

I don't think I have felt safer than I have been when I am in Finn's arms. I slept in his arms for over an hour and when I woke up, he wasn't there.

He left a note anyway. He started leaving notes recently and I loved to read them. I usually stash them in a box for memory's sake. I knew he was going to be gone soon and I wasn't sure I could live with that. Maybe I could live with his written notes and his texts and the random unaware photos I had taken of him.

It was all going to end soon now.

I thought of how he had been making moves in the dark. How he had been doing research for my sake and as insane as it was, I loved it. But it was dangerous. He was literally walking into danger.
