Chapter 28

SCARLETT. 

We spent the rest of the morning having coffee, eating a bit of cereal and talking about a lot of things. 

I had employed Finn for the sole purpose of being a fuck buddy in disguise but he seemed to be doing more than that. 

Keeping me company was something I had expected but I hadn't expected to enjoy his company. He wasn't quite like Lucas, only speaking when he was asked to speak. 

While he was talking, I remembered that he didn't really have office clothing. He had begun his job yesterday with a t-shirt and dark jeans and that gave him a suspicious outlook. 

Imagine having a built driver who is dressed in a dark t-shirt with two buttons open and the sleeves rolled up to his elbow. That had to be the reason why Fiona had stared at him so longingly. That had to be the reason why Kelvin thought we were fucking. 

"Scar?" I was brought back to earth by his voice. I looked at him. "Is something wrong?"
