Chapter 27

FINN

The next morning, I woke up with the saturated morning sunlight pouring out of my window and into my eyes. I turned immediately to avoid being scorched. Not that it was scorching but I wasn't a morning person and I hated the light that came with it. 

Climbing out of the bed, I stretched my body and yawned and the first thing I did was leave my room, going straight to the kitchen to make coffee for me and Scarlett. I believed she was still going to be asleep by now as it was a Saturday. 

Saturdays were my favorite days. Staying cooped up at home and taking my sister out. It was sad that I wouldn't be doing that today as I had already informed them that I would be returning the next weekend. There was a lot of money to be raised today as I was going to spend the whole day with Scarlett. 

On getting to the kitchen, I realized that I hadn't really touched anything last night.
