Chapter 103. Struggles and Relief

Roman’s POV 

"Tell Damon Alvarez to get the required documents ready before our next meeting." I said into my phone, as I paced my study.

"Alright, sir. I will convey your message to his secretary immediately. Have a nice day, sir." Nathan replied, from the other end.

Afterward, I ended the call.

A knock came on the door, just as I was to continue reviewing the pile of documents on my desk.

One of my staff walked in, and bowed. "Lunch is ready, sir. Would you like me to bring your meal here?"

I shook my head in negation, as I set the documents aside, and made for the door.

"Where is Sofie?" I asked, as I made my way to the dining room.

"Ma'am Sofie is waiting downstairs, sir."

I just hummed in response, as I ambled down the flight of stairs.

My lips automatically gave way for a wide grin, on seeing Sofie.
