"Alden Sebastian!! You really know how to make Mama impatient, don't you?" Luna approached Alden, who was still sitting calmly in his place, while Alice had left a few minutes ago. Her jaw clenched as she saw her son refusing to do what she wanted.

Alden flinched. His phone in his hand almost slipped to the floor. He let out a long sigh through his pointed nose. He also prepared himself to face Luna's sharp words.

"Why did you let Alice go alone? If it continues like this, when will you both love each other? When will you give Mama grandchildren?"

As she bombarded Alden with questions, Luna sat down in her previous seat.

"Mom, letting Alice go shopping alone won't change anything," Alden muttered.

"Doesn't change anything, you say?" Luna leaned forward. "Your wife is sick, and letting her go shopping alone has taken away the essential aspect of being a good husband. Moreover, letting your sick wife go shopping accompanied by her ex-boyfriend? That means
