Chapter 9
A car crashing into the road divider naturally caught the attention of passersby, causing them to stop. Their curiosity led them to approach and surround the black luxury car.
Some of them tapped on the car windows to ensure the occupants were alright, especially the driver.
However, the well-intentioned actions of these people only worsened Alice's condition. The sounds she heard now mixed with those from her past, making the memories even more vivid.
Alice's view no longer showed the car's dashboard but the car her parents were in, with fresh blood dripping between the door gaps.
"Mother," Alice mumbled, her mind recalling how her mother pushed her out of the car before it rolled over to the side of the road. Fortunately, the car behind them managed to stop before hitting her.
