Alice should have been sitting comfortably inside the unit by now because the motorcycle taxi she hitched a ride on arrived in front of the apartment about fifteen minutes ago. However, she no longer has any cash in her sling bag. That's all because of the balloons she bought at the park.

The relatively far distance to the ATM machine made her reluctant to go there, fearing that Alden might reach the unit first. So, she chose to wait for Alden to return with the motorcycle taxi driver she rode with, playing with the black balloons in the meantime.

And... after waiting for so long, Alden finally arrived. For the first time since Chloe's departure, Alice was very happy to see Alden.

"Alden, I don't have any cash left to pay this man. So, can you pay first?" Alice said before saying goodbye to the motorcycle taxi driver and leaving right away.
