Chapter 73. Death Threats

Catalina's POV

The next day, my morning brightened when I woke up to a text message from Diane.

She had gotten the CCTV footage. I scrambled out of bed not caring that Killian left without waking me up.

I called Diane immediately, she picked up.

"Hey, I need you to meet me at the coffee shop close to the club."

I nodded, "I am on it."

I rushed out of the house not caring about my appearance, I could always shower when I came back.

This was more important.

I drove to the coffee shop to see Diane worriedly glancing to her side, her face brightened when she saw me.

I slid into the booth opposite hers, "Thank you for doing this."

She nodded, "I stuck my neck to get this." she dropped a flash drive in my palm.

"Thank you, I don't think my mind would be at peace if I don't know what happened to her."

"I understand and although I think your plan was foolish, I get why you let her fool you."
