I left the hospital ward, my mind racing with the threat Fredrickson had just delivered. The safety of Elysia and our son, Ian, weighed heavily on my shoulders. I needed to take immediate action. Seeking a quiet corner within the hospital, I pulled out my phone and dialed Warren's number. Warren was not only my bodyguard but also a trusted friend, someone I could rely on in times of trouble.
"Warren," I spoke urgently into the phone as he answered. "We have a serious problem. Fredrickson just threatened to stomp the hospital."
