Chapter 127. Domino Effect

Sarah sat in her chair uneasily. Adrian had just appeared and became very preoccupied with what was happening. He didn't know why the prosecutor's office suddenly suspected his company because he was sure they had not done anything against the law.

"I feel so guilty…" mumbled Sarah. She knew Zach was listening on the other side. Zach took a deep breath, "Wasn't you the one who asked me to keep Liam Dunham busy? I don't know if tech-O will be dragged too. I mean, during research, I didn't go that far," he babbled. A bit annoyed.

"Why are you so upset? I don't blame you," Sarah said, joining in with annoyance. She couldn't concentrate on the project she was working on while in front of her eyes, Adrian looked very busy responding to all the incoming calls. He also had to coordinate with his financial staff back and forth.

"Zach, can we continue on Monday? I can't keep myself focused right now.
