Chapter 141. Your Friend

"Welcome to my comfort zone!" said Sarah as she opened her apartment door.

Adrian smiled. "It smells good," he said as he sniffed around.

Sarah chuckled. "Yeah, lavender. I always love this kind of smell; it's clean and comforting," she said, opening the curtain and letting the sunshine in. She took a glance at her bedroom. Adrian should not have been there because there were so many pictures on her bedroom wall where she was putting her investigation progress, including Adrian and his parents.

"Um, just wait comfortably here or anywhere; I'll be in my bedroom for a moment," said Sarah, walking fast to her before Adrian could follow her. She shut the door and locked it. In a fast movement, she took all the pictures on the wall and put them under her bed.

She finished right when Adrian knocked on the door. "Leah, someone wants to see you!" he said, half-shouting because the door was thick. Sarah frown
