Chapter 61. Moving on

It wasn't easy for Sarah to overcome her broken heart. She was down for almost a month but tried to appear stoic at work because she had a grandmother to feed. That day, she suddenly got a call from Victoria.

“You still in Brooklyn? How are you?" Victoria asked in her trademark cold tone.

"Good. You? Do you feel better now?” Sarah asked sincerely.

"Yeah, I'm still following the trial for the Abbott family; I hope they all rot in prison," Victoria hissed in disgust.

Sarah nodded, “Yeah, they deserve to be punished, so you're going back to the office? I mean Spectrums?”

“I don't know; things are no longer interesting to me here. I'm actually thinking about moving out of the country. Maybe to Japan or Singapore.”

“Sounds fun! Whatever you do, I wish you the best," Sarah said sincerely.
