Chapter 60. Broke up

"He's gone..." Archie said awkwardly. Sarah immediately freed herself from Archie's arms. She wiped her tears quickly, then bit her lip to brace herself.

"You are okay?" Archie asked, which was just a cliché question that didn't need to be answered.

Sarah cleared her throat, wiping her nose with the hem of her wool sweater.

"I need a beer, you want to come with me?" Sarah asked without looking at Archie.

"What? Beer? Can we have something else? Um, your liver..." Archie muttered as he scratched the back of his head.

Sarah waved her hand, "Forget it, I'll go alone," she said as he turned around and walked away from Archie.

"No, wait! All right! I'll go with you," Archie shouted at last. He half-ran after Sarah and then walked by her side.

"There's a bar a few blocks from here, wanna go there?" Archie tried to break the silence between them.
