Chapter 67. The Phone Call

Thomas’s POV

Mia’s heat lasted for a week. Her fever finally broke last night. She was insatiable during the week. At one point she was waking me all hours of the night for sex. Between spending days in the dungeon interrogating Alpha Richard and spending my evenings and nights with Mia I haven’t gotten nearly enough sleep.

I am settling in for a much-needed night of sleep when the phone begins to buzz on my nightstand. Mia groans loudly and pulls the blankets over her head, she is just as tired as I am. Grabbing a handful of her breast, I lean over her body to grab my phone. Mia squeals loudly and smacks my hand away.

“Haven’t you had enough?” She laughs.

“Never,” I whisper next to her ear before I look at the screen on my phone.

A number that I do not recognize pops up and a low growl escapes from my chest. “What is it?”

“It is me, Dylan. And I need a favor,” Dylan’s voice hesitates on the other end of the call. “Cora is in danger.”
