Chapter 156. Orion’s Downfall

Lyra’s POV

Two things happened at once that made Lyra’s heart stop.

The clash between the two alphas split the air like thunder, and... Aria fainted.

Other than some of the wolves glancing at her, most of the wolves here weren’t even aware that she had fainted. But Lyra had.

No matter what was about to happen to her father and Lucien, she did not allow her gaze to divert from Aria.

That was why she was the first person to notice that her knees were buckling, and her body slowly started to go limp until she had to completely rest on the female guards in order to stand upright.

It took a couple more seconds until her eyes shut, and this time, it didn’t open.

Lyra’s lips curled into a smirk, she crossed her arms, satisfied that Aria had fainted.

And then, before, Lyra could fully enjoy the satisfaction and pride that rushed through her.

Her father’s scream tore through the castle.

She turned her gaze towards the two alp
