Rose’s day was going great, up until the rumors of a battle happening started to spread. That was the exact instant her instincts started flying off.

It didn’t take long for the rumors to be confirmed. In minutes, every single wolf and human in the clawhold knew that Lucien had gotten into a fight with Orion Thorne and won.

At first, a lot of people were skeptical of the news, but when they saw the thorne wolves practically running as they rushed out of the pack, they began to believe.

Rose honestly wouldn’t have cared for the fight if her instincts weren’t firing up. She began to have suspicions that something else had happened, something that wasn’t in the rumors.

Her suspicions were confirmed when she was rudely approached by two guards and told that she was needed in the throne room. For a brief moment, she debated the odds if she were to run. They were good, but her instincts told her to follow them, so she did.
