The white wolf nodded,

She blinked under the moonlight. Her breath was still a little rough, but it was quickly falling into a slow deep rhythm.

Aria stood regal in the snow as she finished her howling, her fur shimmered under the light of the moon as she turned her head to see her fur.

Now that she had let out her wolf, her senses had evolved further, it felt like every single nerve in her body had suddenly come alive.

She could hear every critter, every heartbeat echo in the snow--filled forest.

And yet, even with the world painted in an entirely new light, it was Lucien that she focused on the most.
