The van and the police vehicle were driving down the road in the center of a deserted area; both left and right were deserts filled with sand. It was easy for someone up the road to see another vehicle down the road.

“They are approaching,” the first man said.

As he signaled his men to be ready, it was an ambush as Lorenzo’s men drove out from the desert and joined the police car at the back, and another was approaching the policemen from the front.

Given a hundred (100) meter space, they blocked the road both going and coming; the police car and the van carrying Suarez were trapped in the middle.

“What is the situation there, and why did you stop?” a polite voice asked from the police radio.
