Chapter 132. Stay Away from Him

“Thank you,” the woman whispered and watched as he continued driving then sighed again.

Inside the apartment building, Lily sighed again and finally decided to stop dialing the number after several tries.

Thirty minutes went by and her eyes darted to the bathroom door then she stood up with another sigh when the door suddenly opened.

Clara walked out of the bathroom and strode toward the bed then lay down while curling herself in a ball.

“Big Sis, you need to change into your clothes… or you might catch a cold,” Lily said softly then walked toward the wardrobe and pick her sister’s clothes.

Clara watched her quietly and another tear fell from her eyes. “Lily, I want to speak with Carl… Please hand me my phone,” she said in a barely audible voice and Lily sighed then dropped the clothes on the bed.

“I dialed his number while you were in the bathroom, but his phone was switched off,” she explained softly while handing her the phone.
