Chapter 135. Please Help

She stopped in her footsteps just a few feet from the convenience store while staring at the area where she had almost lost her life that night. ‘Carl.’ She looked down with a sigh and bit her lower lip then a tear trickled down her face.

“Big Sis.” Lily turned to face her worried and sighed heavily then quickly wiped her tear. “Let’s go back,” she said softly and Clara slowly nodded then they turned back and started walking toward the apartment building.

They walked back silently with Lily holding lightly to her sister’s hand while glancing at her now and then with a sigh.

When they entered the apartment building and started walking up the stairs they suddenly bumped into Matt who was now dressed in clean clothes with a big backpack flung over his right shoulder.

“Adios Angels.” Matt chuckled and waved them goodbye with a wink then skipped downstairs.

“Let’s go,” Lily said softly and pulled her sister who was still staring at the guy’s back in shock.
