“N-No, this all lie…” She remembered that was the time she lost consciousness in Jack’s car while he was taking her to the hospital.

How did all this happen in one night? How would she face the world now? and the most important thing, what would Carl think of her and what if her parents found out?

She stared down at the papers in trance for some minutes unable to even cry anymore. Then looked up at Carl who was now sitting on the couch and frowning. Was that why his reaction was so big? Does he also believe she had an abortion? “C-Carl…”

“Leave me alone.” He sighed exasperatedly while rubbing his forehead then stood up and staggered upstairs toward his bedroom.

She watched his back and sighed helplessly while wiping her tears. Looking down at the bathrobe in her body she unwrapped the towel from her hair which had dried up by then and wrapped it again around her shoulder then ambled to the door and left his house.
