Chapter 11. A New Home

Audrey boarded the subsequent available flight home, and when she arrived, Emma couldn't wait to hear the whole story.

Emma hurriedly served her a glass of cold apple juice and sat opposite her, her ears itching for gossip.

" So, how did your trip go? Were you able to convince him to let go of the company?"

" No. He was able to convince me to marry him"

Emma giggled at the word she just heard. She got up and quickly strode into the kitchen, which was only a few walks from the living room, coming out with a glass of chilled mango juice.

" Are you not going to tell me how your trip went?"

" Have I been singing the entire period? He asked me to get into a fake marriage with him, and after a year we got divorced, and he offers back J.and. J to me as alimony"

" That a good deal, but why you, I mean no offense, but he has numerous women begging at his doorstep, why choose you?"

" He didn't let me on that, but I am guessing I will find out soon. He
