It takes Lucien’s departure with the cab for the assassin to regain himself.

After Lucien’s statement, he immediately examined Asher’s shirt without a single doubt that Lucien’s statement might not be true and his heart skipped a beat when he noticed not only the other identical buttons on it but also the spot the button in his hand was pulled out from.

Nevertheless, that alone wasn’t what made him exceedingly surprised, he was that surprised because if not that as an assassin of his level he has a great sight, he wouldn’t have known that a button was taken away from that spot. It took him to look closely enough before he could see it.

It was at that point that he realized Lucien is truly extraordinary and someone who possesses powers he has never seen in anyone else.

As he glances back at the spot after regaining his composure, he doubts that anyone inferior to him can be able to notice that anything is missing because the button was properly removed to the
