Chapter 25. Slumped

Brianna and Mrs. Avery run after Juliet.

Descending the stairs, they can see her up ahead as she dashes toward the TV.

After running for a while, Juliet finally stops right in front of the TV which is on already, her blue eyes widening at the news that is being broadcasted.

‘Breaking news; Lucien Wood, ex-lover of the young billionaire, Miss Juliet Pearson has finally regained consciousness after the life-threatening accident.’

Juliet feels her heart thumping loudly in her chest. "Lu…Lu…Lucien is back?!" She gasps in disbelief, covering her mouth with her hand. Her eyes well up with tears and for the first time in days, she lets out a deep breath, one of relief and gratefulness.

No words can explain how she feels after hearing that Lucien Wood is fine now.
