"I want to go back up there. In the museum. Aren't you planning to come with me? " She asked.

Ryan simply sighed and massaged the back of his neck. "Can you tell me how fucked we are, Diana? We're willing to put our lives in danger again for a reason that we're not even sure is true," he added. "Be forthright, D. Is the Scroll of Fate a genuine artifact?"

"I'm not sure, Ryan, maybe yes or no, I'm not sure, but we have to give it a shot, right? It's only our best chance at this point. Maybe it wasn't real, or maybe it was, I'm not sure, but at the very least we have a goal. Right?" Diana murmured to herself as she began to think about something completely different.

She should think more like a vampire than she should think like a normal human. If she was, in fact, the Queen, what could have motivated her to commit such a heinous act? Or, more specifically, what was her primary objective?
