Andrew picked up the lead in perfect rhythm, tucking his head. By then, his smell and the sight of him were etched in Diana's mind. She found herself always aware of him, her senses automatically kept track of him, as if she were afraid he would disappear from her view. In such proximity, she could not help but notice his every move, breath, and heartbeat. This man was breathtakingly good to her senses. Sexy and, above all, so enticingly hot, yet he kept on turning his head towards her, watching her all the time, assessing. Well, not obviously likeable, but yeah, he was looking at her like she was prey, like she was a rat, and like he was the angry lion.
By then, she had to admit a certain trust, awareness, and fondness for him.
