Andrew folded back the cuffs of his shirt for something to do with his hands. "I told you, Diana. You will be surprised, after all, it's not every day—"
"Will you just answer my questions clearly, Andrew?” A hard light came into her eyes, and her expression set like fast-acting glue.
"Well, I'm not sure just yet.”
She groaned and closed her eyes. “Let me think. My brain is still brewing new information. My goodness. Is this really him?" Diana wiped the blood from the face of the strange man, and that was weirdly tied upside down. "This is Tommy? How is this even possible? Why is my best friend here in the fucking 17th century a werewolf? Above all, tied up and almost dead?" Before Andrew could tell her more, she turned and walked out of the tree, leaving him with just the lingering fragrance of her scent.
