Chapter 20. Lost at the Conference

Kate's POV

Matt was awakening my heart with his beauty. He had shifted from being handsome to being beautiful. I just wanted to take a break away from him because my love for him kept growing and growing, but he was interested in a different person.

He kept driving me crazy whenever he mentioned it! I understood why Angela kicked my ass, seeing me around Matt. But, I wouldn't do that to his lover.

When he gives me that break where I would not work for him again, maybe I would just wait for my Hero to come for me or let the wind of love blow me away to wherever it would let me settle. But, it should be a place where my heart can rest peacefully.

"Do you want to tell me something?" Matt asked, breaking his long speechlessness when he found out that I was busily having a suspicious look at him.

Yeah, I surely stole quite a bunch of his appearance with my stares. I was just taking my shares before he meets his lover.
