Chapter 39. Getting Ready

Kate's POV

“What did I just do?” I blamed myself after we finished having sex. It was not as exciting as I have read on the internet.

I got to the washroom, and there I examined and took a careful look at my face, boobs, and VG to see if there had been an immediate change. I didn’t see anything, not even the blood I thought I would see.

I went back to dress up to leave his room. “Now, can I come back to work for the rest of the month?” I asked as I dressed up.

He was still lying in bed, with his blanket covering only his lower part.

“Where are you going?” he asked. “Didn’t you come here because of me? To let me know you love me? This tells me that, Kate,” he assumed.

“Do you love all the women you have had sex with?” I questioned.
