Caught in Danger

‘Thank you very much for helping and giving me a place to stay. I am truly grateful for your help. Sincerely, Rosella.’

I wrote on the note and placed it on the table in the living room.

I had only written the truth on the note, and I am sure he would be happy to see me gone. I was a trouble anyways.

I packed a few clothes that Alpha Daniel gave me, and I took the bundle of cash from the drawer in my room and put that in the bag as well. I left the credit card as it was because taking the cash itself felt so wrong.

I may be a weak and petrified wolf, but I do have some self-respect, and that self-respect is asking me to leave the Alpha’s mansion as soon as possible. I don’t want to be a burden on him or anyone else. I will try my best to build my own life.

I took a last glance at the mansion before I left the place.
