Chapter 35

First Kill

My head was throbbing hard as my eyes fluttered open as I saw that Ryan had restrained me with twine to a tree. I looked around to see if he was anywhere near, but I could not see him.

Ryan and I got into a fight, and he hit me with a stone. I was bleeding from my head, but I could feel it starting to heal as well.

I looked around in the jungle, it was nighttime, and it appeared as though I was alone. Usually, this situation might have scared me, but now I don’t feel scared because I have been training long enough to know a few techniques. And I am no longer afraid of dying either.

I focused on my hearing senses to navigate if I could hear anything, but all I heard was the ruffling of air in the jungle amongst the trees and plants. Well, at least no wild animal is around here.

I tried to loosen the twine, but it was tied around me extremely tight. I pulled myself forcefully.

Damn it. This is surely going to leave marks on
