Scared to Death

I opened my car door and put Rose in the back seat as I rushed us to my place. My mind was numb due to the fear of losing her like this. I scurried her to my mansion and placed her on my bed.

I had a feeling of distress erupt inside of me as I put her on my bed. She was whimpering a little in the car, but now she was completely still. I shook her a little to see if she would react, but she didn’t.

“Rose,” I whispered as I dropped onto the bed beside her. She did not answer or even make a slight sound.

I don’t know what is happening with her. She was completely fine until she suddenly fainted at the bar.

“Rose, are you okay? Please, answer me!” I wailed, but it was of no use.

What if I lose her? No, Goddess, please, don’t!
