Chapter 66

The Naked Party

We were having a party at the pack after the fight we had just won. Everyone was drinking and dancing around the bonfire, but all I could see were the dark eyes following my every movement.

Daniel watched me like a hawk the entire time, and I remembered that I told him I would think about us after everything was over. And, right now, the peace feels amazing. It feels like, finally, everything might be over for real this time.

The victory was really great, and I can proudly say that none of our wolves got killed off. There are some injured ones, but they can be healed. Today feels amazing. Never in my life did I ever think that one day I would lead a war and win it as well. The old me would not believe me even if I showed the future.

I decided to initiate this time as I strode towards him, and Adrian, who was standing to his side, excused himself almost as immediately as he saw me.

Daniel looked right into my eyes as I smile
