I spent the next couple of days in the same dirty cell I have been dreading to be in. Not even once did Lucius bother to visit me. The Omega would only come to bring me my meal and then leave right away without giving me the chance to ask any questions.

Everyone hated me for trying to kill Maia while I was still trying to process the fact that Lucius marked her. Thinking back to the times Neal talked to me and that confrontation I had with Lucius, they did say that she was his mate but I did not believe it. I thought that they were lying.

Thoughts about my father finding out about what I did ransack my brain leaving me more worried than before.
