"Let me go to the Barren Forest," Radulf told Adolphus. "Joshua and Hunter can follow me there," he added. 

"No. I'll go there with you," Adolphus stated. In his eyes, they were strong enough to bring down any powerful witch. And he didn't wish anything to happen to any of his friends. 

"I thought you were on a break because of your marriage," Radulf opined. 

"I'm not on a break," he clarified to Radulf. He tapped his fingers on the armrest of the chair and thought about the traps that witch could have set for them. 

"Crown Prince, can you fight the witch this time? She is turning powerful day by day. And humans were her target. The lands, where our reach is limited and human involvement is more, she chose such places," Radulf pointed out how the witch got her strength over the years. "Humans were not ready to surrender the administration of such territories to us. And now, they have seen the repercussions," he muttered.
