After Adolphus took his leave with Iris, he stopped only in their chamber.
"You didn't get hurt while fighting with that witch, right?" Iris asked again with a worried look, "and am I really your mate?"
"I'm not hurt anywhere. Agatha couldn't stand before me. And you radiate a scent that's unique to you only. A scent only my wolf can recognise," Adolphus explained to her.
His words left Iris speechless while a hue of red appeared on her cheeks.
"You should rest then. It must have been exhausting for you," Iris said.
