Adolphus ended up sleeping more than he had expected. When he woke up, it was already the next morning. Iris wasn't by his side, but her scent lingered behind.
Leaving the bed, he walked out of the bedroom and found Ryena, Iris' personal attendant giving the instructions to the maidservants.
"Your Grace!" Ryena quickly bowed as soon as she saw Adolphus had woken up. The other servants also bowed their heads in reverence.
"Where's Iris?" Adolphus inquired.
"With the Luna Queen, Your Grace. I will inform her right away about–" Ryena hadn't finished off as Adolphus stopped her.
"It's fine." Adolphus went to the washroom while the servants resumed their work.
