Chapter 11. Club
ADELINE’S POV
“I haven’t been here in years.” I say to Liam, my arms wrapped around his as we walk into the most luxurious club in the city. Before leaving the house, I settled for a tight black dress that hugs my figure in all the right places, with spaghetti straps that help support the dress onto my shoulders. It’s not something I would normally wear but I’m feeling a tad bit rebellious tonight.
I’ve been thinking about Dante. A lot. I was with him just a few hours ago, but it feels like a part of me was ripped away when he drove out of my yard earlier. I want to feel him on my skin again, and I think the way I’ve been thinking about him since he kissed me has been very unhealthy for my mental health.
“Yeah cause you’re a workaholic and you never want to have any fun with me.” Liam pouts as he leads us up to a bar in the VIP area. The music here is lighter and there’s a sea of bodies in the center of the room, swaying and rocking to the sound of the music
