Chapter 137. All Ours

ADRIAN’S POV

My men met Veronica and me at Route 39 at the exact time we asked them to meet us. I can’t even count the number of men that are here, but there are so many of them and a lot of cars, too. I look at them dumbfounded because even I forgot that I had these many guards and weapons. I forgot that I had so much power and looking at them now, I love it. I love the fact that I can get all that Veronica promised me with these men.

I escaped from Dante’s grasp. He stole money from me, and it was annoying, but what he stole was just the tip of the iceberg. I have a separate account for the money that I want absolutely nobody to have access to. I have the number of men necessary to have as much power as I can. Dante couldn’t get his hands on that cash and I have it all. I have my power back.
