DANTE’S POV

I buried Xavier where no one will ever find him and then after that, I went to his house and ransacked the place, but I couldn’t find anything important. I guess he wasn’t stupid enough to keep anything that might implicate him at his place. Now, all I have to do is go to Adeline.

It’s almost 6a.m and I’m kind of proud at myself for properly taking care of everything before the sun comes up. It doesn’t take me long to reach Adeline’s place. I had to take a cab because taking my car to her place would have been too exposing. No one has to find out that I’m still in town, and no one has to see me sneaking into Adeline’s place.
