Chapter 10. A Job Offer

Anna’s heart was beating hard in her chest as she followed the guy to the table that was at the back. Everyone in the coffee shop looked like they were in their own world. Each of them was involved in conversations and seemed to be having a good time. 

While she was trying to figure out who this strange guy really was and what he wanted with her. 

When they finally reached the table, they sat down and Anna swallowed hard, clasping her hands together to avoid the guy from seeing how shaky they were due to her nerves. 

“So…” He smiled, beginning the conversation. “Do you really want to know who I am?” His smile developed into a smirk. 

“I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t, would I?” She was getting bolder.
