Chapter 15. The Offer Still Stands

Anna felt her breath hitch as the man’s eyes locked onto hers. He paused briefly, as if surprised but pleased by her presence, before composing himself. The frown returned, but it was not as harsh this time—more of a mask of authority than genuine displeasure. 

As for Anna, she knew the man. It was the guy that Zac and her was trying to find online; the very same one who had broken into their apartment. It was the very guy who she had coffee with and had offered her a job and that he was going to ruin her life if she was not going to accept. 

That was Liam. 

The fact that he had been a bit taken aback by her being in this class had her a bit curious. This was because the moment she had seen him, she had already established in her head that he had planned this. 

But then why was he so shocked when he had seen her? Or was this just some sort of trick to get her thinking? Why was he even here…teaching here? She thought that he was a millionaire.&nbs
