Chapter 85. I Can't Save You

Zac sighed, running his hand through his hair as he kept his eyes on the guy. “Please listen to me. This does not have to escalate.” 

“Zac, I am not going to do that.” Liam smiled, and the emotion that was portrayed was mostly dark. “Get out of my way, man.” 

“I just—” Zac was saying but then without warning, the guy jumped into action and pushed past him. 

Zac took a split second to process what was happening and that was when he bolted after the guy. He was fast and grabbed him by his shoulder when he reached the desk and pulled him back very hard, causing him to fall on it. 

“Stay f*cking put!!” Zac exclaimed, his voice echoing in the space. 

Liam soon scurried to his feet, his eyes crazy and wide as his chest rose up and down due to his hard and fast breathing. He reached for the liquor glass on the table and lunged for Zac, making sure to break it on the guy’s head.
