Chapter 93. Expelled

Anna’s heart pounded in her chest and stared at the woman in disbelief. “I can report you,” She tried to defend herself.

The woman put on her glasses again and chuckled. “And who are you going to report me to?”

Anna tried to speak but no words could come out of her mouth. She chuckled sadly and adjusted her bag on her shoulder. 

Finally, she flashed a forced smile and turned around and left the office. Tears fell from her eyes freely and she rushed past the student in the hallway before making her way out of the building. 

She sniffled and used the back of her hand to wipe her tears. She swallowed hard and closed the distance between her and the car.

As she was about to unlock the car and get in, a voice startled her and she almost dropped the keys. 

“Hey.” It was a guy who she did not know. He had curly brown hair and brown eyes. He smiled when they locked eyes. “You’re that chick from the news, right? The serial killer’s girlfriend.”
