Chapter 197. Having a Talk

Anna stood there, her heart thumping in her chest. She stared at the guy, thinking about how she was going to tell him the truth.

She knew that she was going to have to tell him eventually. And this was the right time. 

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Zac asked, his face holding an emotion that Anna could not decipher. 

For a minute there, she was starting to think that maybe he already knew and just wanted to play with her head. “I need to tell you something. It happened when I was back in Cyprus.” She swallowed, walking towards the couch and sitting down on it. 

He watched her carefully but encouraged her to continue. “Okay?” He went to the other couch and sat down. “I’m all ears. Is this about Victor?”

She started to feel tears fill her eyes but she tried her best to ignore it. She did not want to seem weak. She had been through way too much to be weak. It was just the truth that she was about to tell him, right?
