Chapter 66. Announcing Our Wedding

Amelia’s POV 

I prepared dinner as he sat on the kitchen stool, supporting his face in his hands, watching me cook. “Do you know that you’re perfect for me? A perfect wife!” he said as he stole a slice of cherry

I gave him a look. “Well, so are you for me. A hot and perfect husband!” I said with a grin on my face as I prepared the marinade. 

“Really? How hot? How are you resisting me then?” he asked as he got up from his stool and came towards me. I rolled my eyes. I knew what he’d be up to now. 

“Please Jay, let me cook,” I said as I glanced at his amused expression.

I finished making the cherry glaze and placed the marinated meat on the grill to cook. I felt his breath on my neck as his arms snaked around my waist, and he whispered into my ear. 

“Let’s escape to a remote island. Do you wanna see in what ways I can eat you?” he asked, biting my ear lobe. 

“What will your family eat, then?” He chuckled as he peeped i
